Meg and I started out really early for Loch Clunie. Today’s mountains were first we would try in the Kintail area.
The stalkers’ path was a real delight being really dry underfoot.
We walked the first two Munros (Carn Ghluasaid and then Sgurr nan Conbhairea) in thick cloud and the Satmap earned its keep. However the weather picked up for the final summit of the day Sail Chaorainn. Despite not seeing much of the views we followed cliffs all the way along the ridge: a walk to be repeated in clear weather.
