Big family get together in Corpach today to celebrate mum’s 90th. D and Meg and I were the first to arrive. She was so excited anticipating having all of us together for the first time since her 50th Wedding Anniversary which was 18 years ago. In terms of generations we had a great-granny, through to great grand daughter and son. And two dogs - Meg and Milley, my black lab and my niece's 6 month old boxer.
What mum didn’t know was that we had invited some of her friends too. She was thrilled to pieces with the day – helped along with a buffet and a wee glass of champagne, or two. Oh, and a cake, I baked.
