After Kilmartin, Meg and I continued beyond Crinan to see if the Ospreys were back again at their summer residence on a burnt out tree on the far side of a wee lochan. And there they were: one was in the nest, the other perched at the side, on guard. What a delight to see them again. I’ll come back throughout the summer to keep tabs on the number of wee heads popping about in the nest.
On the way home I did a double take as another amazing sight appeared before me: on a branch high up a solitary tress was Winnie the Pooh. And two smaller siblings.
