After my meeting in Glasgow I headed for the airport for a flight to London Luton. Had a drink (juice only!) in a local Herne Hill pub while waiting for Bridget. Grand evening with her and Brenda catching up.
Friday started with a walk in Ruskin Park with Holly, then a jog around the park. Into town for a tarot card reading – fascinating! Lunch with Mary, shopped and then drinks with Katrina and Jayne. Phew!
As I was early to meet Jill on Saturday I wondered up to St Pancras International. Stunning space. Back to rendezvous with Jill. The Annie Leibovitz exhibition was stonking. Took me through the whole gamut of emotions. What a great mix of celebrity and family photies.
Late lunch in a vegan friendly café in Neil’s Yard. I took a wee walk down Whitehall to view the Women of World War II memorial.
Tube out to Fulham broadway to meet Saboohi and her partner Maggie for Sunday lunch: exquisite Thai buffet in the Blue Elephant. Then home to cook dinner for Bridget and Brenda – vegetarian haggis for Bridge and I; mince for Brenda – yes, I cooked mince!
Up before the crack of dawn for train back to Luton airport in time for my meeting in Glasgow. Finished with a cup of tea with Karen in City In Hotel. Yet another nice woman through the Pink Sofa!
