Sunday 28th September 2008: Carn an Tuirc and Cairn of Claise

Cripes! Slept in this morning till 0620 hours (my usual getting up time). I’d hoped to be away by 0600 hours as the weather even over at Spittal of Glen Shee was billed to deteriorate by lunch time and I wanted to have 4 Munros completed by then. Auch well there’s always another day. I managed two Munros before the cloud closed around me and I experienced my first hail of this autumn. So I turned for home. Every cloud has it’s silver lining and today’s cloud meant I was back in Tyndrum at the Green Welly Shop before closing time. And with The Big Holiday coming up there were certain things a girl needed to look at. Lots of silver changed hands!
