When I woke up this morning it was so still and peaceful and I immediately thought: it must have snowed. And it had. For some weeks now while all around me the mountains have been white no snow had fallen at sea level. But this morning had the quietness of snow and the garden and bay looked gorgeous. Snow makes for some irresistible scenery.
