As I mentioned earlier (see below) it's lovely finishing so early in the day. And today as it was a clear, bright, gorgeous (albeit cold) winter's day, I drove along the promenade in Oban to Ganavan Sands - which I walked to previously from the opposite direction. The sunset on the way there at 1530 hours was beautiful: views over Loch Linnhe, Lynn of Lorn, sound of Mull, Lismore. Breath taking, I think. What do you think?
