Wednesday 5th September 2007: Glasgow: Pure Dead Brilliant

I've had two days in Glasgow - yesterday and today for a conference on libraries and shared services and public private partnerships. There were some really good presentations. Interesting and thought provoking.
As The conference started at 1000 hours both days it was easy to get through there early and do some touristy things: visiting the Willow Tearooms and the Glasgow School of Art:two of my favorite Art Deco buildings. The shopping opportunities in Glasgow are great - Buchanan Galleria and Princes Square being two of the best. Princess Square is a really beautiful space with exclusive names.
The People's Palace on Glasgow Green is a great museum of social history. And the Necropolis is the City of the Dead. Pure Dead Brilliant.
