VisitScotland ran a competition to win tickets and the ones I was interested in were those on Calmac ferries, and I won two tickets for Oban- Lismore. Lismore is a local island only 50 mins from Oban on the ferry. As D wouldn’t accompany me, that gave me two visits! So Meg and I had two trips to the island. We walked much of the island which is lush and green and peaceful.
