I regularly go up to see mum on a Monday and today was no exception. But rather than taking mum for a hurl and tea and cake to a suitably beautiful spot, today I was taking her to hospital for the afternoon. She was to have an enema and then a procedure called a flexible sigmoidoscopy.
As we both knew the nurse who was going to be looking after mum, Linda (the nurse) recommended I go up Glen Nevis for a walk as she’d been up there early morning and said it was looking fabulous.
I needed no second telling as mum and I often head up to the Lower Falls. Meg and I walked along the river side for about a mile: the autumnal colours were awesome as was the light. Pictures will go up on Facebook.
