Wed 17th – Fri 19th August 2011: Restraint training and more



Meg and I travelled to Lochgilphead daily for me to deliver with two other colleagues restraint training. There was already an autumnal look to the trees and feel to the air. Three days very physical work but I felt like I was on holiday. My colleagues are great to work with; the group was motivated and fun to be with. Meg and I stopped for breakfast at the Lady Glassary Woods Standing stones on the way down, had lovely walks in the Barbluie woods at lunch time and different stops on the way home – including the Neolithic rock art (cup rings and carvings) at Achnabreck.
Oh, and by the way, it took 5 of the group, 11 minutes to restrain me when we put them through their paces on the Friday afternoon. I was to role play someone who was refusing to take their medication. They all promise to bring their books back on time…
