A favorite view on the road up from Lochearnhead to Crianlarich is over to the Glen Ogle viaduct. It used to form part of the Callendar and Oban Railway and is now a cycle track and Meg and I walked part of it on Saturday.
The viaduct has 12 stone arches and is clad in local granite.
On the track you look down on to the old military road – another road built to maintain control of the Highlands after the Jacobite Rising in 1745.
