Into best bib and tucker and on to Glasgow – picnic en route – to see Hairspray The Musical, at the Armadillo. What a great afternoon – we did a matinee. Chocs for D to munch during the performance. There were so many school children in the audience and that started us thinking about how good an example of equality and diversity and healthy living issues the musical actually highlights.
D had also been researching interesting places to eat and found a real smasher: Tchai-Ovna, a tea house: back went my head to Nepal, temporarily. Tachai-Ovna is higgledy piggledy put together. Nothing matches furniture wise, though the teas and the vegetarian mezzo certainly hit the mark. Reminds me of an old hippy heaven. Delightfully relaxing tucked away down a lane
