Over a delicious dinner and a few glasses of wine we planned our walk. With varying capabilities we decided on a relatively low level walk up to the Coire Mhic Fhearchair which is one of the most impressive corries in Scotland.
Beinn Eighe with massive triple buttresses tower above a beautiful Lochan with sparkling waterfalls. The tranquillity of the atmosphere is awesome. A perfect place for a picnic.
Four of us decided to continue round the Coire Dubh which took us behind Liathach. My friends were most impressed that I had completed the ridge walk of Liathach. From this hidden side of Liathach the mountain looks totally impenetrable.
A series of picturesque reedy lochans lined the route and Meg swam in everyone of them.
