As the leaving time of our bus to Hania was midday after a leisurely breakfast (and a run for me along the beach front) we went for a swim in the sea.
Linda was the first in the water and was immediately joined by an Alsatian who swam out to “rescue” her and bring her back to shore!
Each time she went out, he retrieved her! He then did the same with me. Circling round us to stop us going further out and nudging you in towards the safety of the shore. He was happy for his collar to be held.
Once he was happy we were staying on dry land, he came for a cuddle with me as if to say “Glad you’re safe”. Soppy dolt.
