Thinking I was only walking locally (and as the crow flies it was local) I was slow in getting going this morning, as I set out from the bottom of Glen Etive to walk Ben Starav and Glass Beinn Mhor. Hold ups on the road here: lots of deer looking like they were waiting on feeding.
A clear day, but one where the light has never really been switched on. What a majestic mountain Ben Starav is. A real beauty. Snow all around but only an icing sugar coating here. I was proud of my handling of the wee ridge I had to negotiate coming off Ben Starav to get on top Glas Beinn Mhor.
