We rendesvoused at Cafe Beag in Glen Nevis for some sustenance before walking up through Glen Nevis gorge to the Steall Falls. The most beautiful half mile in Scotland - can't remember who is credited with saying this but I agree with the comment. The gorge is steep and filled with gorgeous Pine trees and a peppering of Silver birch.
Aud was the only one of us to succeed in crossing the Steall Bridge. Each of the rest of us tried and decided against it. For me, I felt too little! In stretching to try and hold on to the metal ropes for balance I felt my arms were being pulled out of their sockets! I will have to conquer this as several Munros - the Ring of Steall - necessitates this.
Meanwhile, glory to Aud who not only crossed to the other side, but came back as well. Show Off!
