We had a leisurely drive down to the ferry this morning. The ferry can take a maximum of 8 cars and there were 4 vehicles booked. I spent most of the time on the deck watching for birds and looking at Arran getting closer and closer. Goat Fell kept waving to me.
Lochranza is a beautiful wee place – its beauty helped by the gorgeous weather. We drove in a clockwise direction to Drumla farm where we had rented a timber lodge. The setting is stunning: overlooking Pladda Island and Aisla Craig and just a short walk to the beach at Kildonan which I visited several times.
