Saturday 9th June 2007: Glen Lyon Horseshoe

Today was an absolute stonking day. The Met Office promised dry and some cloud, and I was caught out well and truly as it turned out to be baking sun and I packed a toorie, goretex gloves, waterproofs, but no sun tan lotion. And I burned. And still feel burned a day later.
But what a walk. Just over 11 miles, and once I was up high, the views were amazing. To placate the landowner one is meant to do the walk in a clockwise direction. So I did.Four Munros make up the Glen Lyon Horseshoe. The path initially follows the Invervar burn which has some lovely waterfalls, as above.
