A friend,Mal, is involved in the local horticultural society and they had their annual charity event down at Armaddy Castle, just a few miles south of Oban. Dee and Meg and I went down for a look. They had the local steam railway club there too. The gardens of the castle are beautiful. And I could see they would be gorgeous in autumn.
While this was my first visit to the caslte grounds in person, Meg and I had parked outside on many occasions and walked to the Fairy Tree where we made many wishes...some of which have come true.
