Over the sea to Skye.

Mum and I have an annual pilgrimage to Skye and because of blips in her health I kept putting it back till she was a wee bit stronger. Well, we decided just to go for it on the 6th June. And what a fab day we had. We picnicked on the Mam Ratagan for our 10 o’clock piece, took the Glen Elg turntable ferry – which only takes 6 cars – over to Kylerhea and then headed for a very sunny Portree for lunch. We drove home via the Skye Bridge with chips in Kyles of Lochalsh and a tea and pee stop at Eileen Donan. Then, of course, there are the alpacas at Glen Shiel...
