Friday 10th Feb 2012: Dunadd Fort

3 days restraint training in Lochgilphead and Meg and I enjoyed lunch time walks – for two days in the Blarbluie Woods and then on Friday, up to Dunadd Fort. Rising out of the Great Moss and on top of a rocky outcrop Dunadd was the capital of Scottish Kingdom of Dalriada in about 500AD - only 175 feet high but with 360 degree views this was one of the most important places in Scotland for about 400 years.
Today, Meg is queen of all she surveys.
