Meg and I set out super early (mainly because I misread my watch thinking it said 0510 hours not 0410 hours) and drove through a beautiful sunrise and arrived in Glen Affric to be eaten by midges while I got my booots etc on. Midges do speed up my processes tremendously. Both tops we were heading for were under cloud as we viewed where they should be for the first time. Still the weather opened nicely for us. Our first two Glen Affric Munros: Tom a'Choinich and Toll Creagach. The latter a featureless pudding of a mountain, the former a bit more peaky. Great walk.
