Having dropped Meg off at kennels D and I headed for the Mull ferry: we had a friend’s cottage near Bunessan for the week as our base. We had also booked ourselves into a B+B on Iona for two nights. This B+B has a hot tub which we sampled – with complimentary glass of wine, and a sauna – which we will go back and use at a future date. We had three days to amble over Iona beaches: shear bliss. As part of the deal on the B+B we got a boat trip out to the Treshnish Islands, more of that separately.
Our weather throughout was spectacular except for one day: but there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing to cope with the weather.
We also walked a lot on Mull taking photos with my new digital SLR camera of which I am delighted, took in a drive to Tobermory and visited a weaving centre.
